Who is Maria Montessori?

Lady Maria Montessori is an Italian educator and the first female doctor in Italy. In the early stage of this century, she proposed new educational method through long-term actual contact with children and observation, not only changing the people's opinions and practice on children education at that time, but also deeply impacting the later generations.

In her whole life, she concentrated on education, and was highly respected and noticed around the world when she passed away in 1952.
