How to cultivate concentration?
When children repeatedly and continuously do the same thing, they can submerge in the state of "concentration". Montessori found the correlation between "concentration" and "repeated doing". In the meantime, she had another question: "How to realize repeated doing?"  She made deeper observation. Finally she discovered when children do the things selected by themselves, "repeated doing" phenomenon will appear. "Own free selection" is starting point, free selection is closely correlated with repeated doing.

Free selection→repeated doing→concentration→bearing sense of fulfillment and ending the activity with sense of achievement.

At home, parents can also assist to cultivate children's concentration:
- Avoid disturbing the children when they are drawing, playing toys or reading.
- Do not let children divert their attention, for example, do not let them water TV or listening to teaching video while having a meal.
- Do not press children, reserve sufficient time.
- Give children enough time and opportunity to repeat, and allow them to operate repeatedly according to their demand.
- Respect children's freed selection and provide proper guidance.
Help children establish successful experience for cultivating real concentration.
