One competent Montessori directress must establish correct and clear education concept, have complete professional knowledge and properly mature personality features.

In the aspect of concept, she must be very clearly master and approve the true essence of "education is pillar of life" proposed by Dr. Montessori; in the aspect of professional knowledge, she must receive rigorous teacher training, develop the ability of observing children and thoroughly understanding their demand, and always take further study in all respects to enhance herself; in the aspect of personality feature, she should be stable, self-restraint, optimistic, positive, responsible, sociable and good at challenging and must have sympathy, tolerance and the ability of self-criticism, perceiving and correction.

Aside from the above conditions, the most important thing is that when getting along with children, she must be willing to act as children's servant without fearing hardship and difficulty with a most humble heart. Finally, she is willing to consider the self-development brought by this work as the largest satisfaction and highest value and use it as the driving force that supports her to continuously stride forward.
